What features will be lost if the bootloader is unlocked in a REDMI device?

There are many people people who want to unlock there Redmi devices,but they have doubts and query about few things which are most likely.

• What if i loose my device warranty?
• Will i get in any trouble with unlock bootloader?
•  Am i gonna loose features after unlocking my device bootloader?
• What should i do after unlocking bootloader?
• Will my data going to be lost?

 

There are many more questions and doubt are there apart from mentions above examples but too keep it simple from my past experience of rooting and using custom roms and developing kernel and custom roms myself,you will get your answer here :)

•  First of all yes if you got a redmi devices and you are thing about unlocking boot-loader your device will get format for the first time so make sure you make a back up first.
• And if you gonna stay in your miui stock roms you may loose some of the features  like face-lock,some camera features as well some times night mode features get loose after unlocking boot-loader(for few devices as miui get buggy after every updates and stables ones have some minor issue)
• so if the above case happens with you what can you do to avoid it? either  you can root your device and flash magisk modules to get more miui modded feature which you can get from Telegram channels  these days instead of googling it,or you can flash custom roms for your devices of your choice(make sure to check the bugs and flashing guide before doing and blaming  anyone)
• If your redmi device have Qualcomm snapdragon chipset than you can flash xiaomi.eu rom which generally are way faster and better than stock miui roms.
  
  
  
• And if your redmi device have mtk chipset or you are thinking to buy mtk chipset redmi device for development purpose or just flashing custom roms or modding ur miui please don't consider buying snapdragon varient for the same.
• And as for warranty Xiaomi gives you permission to unlock bootloader so you can provide or mod miui for better experience so don't be afraid to unlock bootloader after you buy the device but make sure to flash stock rom if something happens to your devices because xiaomi might gives you permission to unlock bootloader but service centers might blame you for whatever reason and might deny for service so keep that in you mind :)
